TDI’s range of Open Courses deal with specific issues around sexual offending and sexual harm. They build on material covered in our Bitesize training sessions, combining them to give a more holistic understanding of topics.
These courses are suitable primarily for those who work with known sexual offenders in a non-therapeutic role, or those who work in settings where service use by unknown offenders may be an issue. Some courses are targeted at particular job roles or settings, others are more generally applicable.
The courses are designed for individuals or small numbers of trainees from a single organisation. For those seeking to train more staff, we are able to design bespoke courses which are able to deal with the issues unique to you and which are generally more cost-effective.
Courses are delivered remotely by TDI’s training team, supported by written workbooks. All TDI’s trainers are experts in the field, with years of practical experience. You can learn more about our trainers on our 'People' page.
Courses run over 4 hours from 9:30 to 1pm to allow for comfort breaks. Note: Church Settings course offer morning or afternoon check date for timings
There is a regular calendar of courses, with each course running multiple times across the year.
