Who can be a victim of sexual offending?
About this Session
In this video training session, Matt from TDI answers the question 'Who can be a victim of sexual offending?'. We talk about the impacts of sexual offending, discuss what can make a person vulnerable to offending behaviour, explore how offenders take advantage of vulnerabilities to offend, introduce some signs of sexual abuse which we can look out for, and say a little about how we can respond to disclosures of sexual abuse and offending.
This video is accompanied by an exercise, 'Exploiting vulnerability', which is available alongside the video.
This session builds on the TDI Explainer of the same name, which may be a good place to start for those who are coming to this topic completely fresh.
