How are risks managed?
About this Session
In this video training session, Matt from TDI answers the question 'How are risks managed?' We talk briefly about offender management within the community by state agencies, introduce some models of risk, consider characteristics of the offender which impact on risk, then characteristics of situations which can impact on risk, and finish by considering actions we ourselves can take to reduce the risk of sexual offending and sexual harm within our day-to-day lives.
This video is accompanied by an exercise, 'Eric', which is available alongside the video.
This session builds on the TDI Explainer of the same name, which may be a good place to start for those who are coming to this topic completely fresh.
